　　焦急的母親菈葵兒（艾瑪蘇雷茲飾演）到銀行借錢，她必須在24小時內籌到35000歐元（約新台幣130萬元），否則她將再也見不到心愛的女兒。經過不斷懇求，銀行終於同意借款給她救急。不料在貸款手續快要完成之時，兩個蒙面搶匪闖入銀行，不但搶走所有錢，就連在場所有顧客與行員都成為人質。在分秒必爭的險境當中，菈葵兒決定無論付出什麼代價，都一定要拿到這筆錢全身而退…。究竟她該如何保住性命？又該如何籌錢保住女兒呢？

　　Driving home late at night during a heavy rainstorm, Glen experiences car trouble. Near where his car gets stuck, he spots a house, knocks on the door and is greeted by an oddly friendly middle-aged man, Arthur, and his younger wife, Cyndi. The strange couple pours him a drink, and then more drinks, followed by an unexpected offer that Glen can’t refuse. 　　2012韩国电影《无情的城市》堪称“韩国版《撞车》”，以9个人物为中心，讲述他们在24小时内发生的连环悲剧。李基英在片中饰演一位放高利贷的放债人，他放贷给面临破产危机的金大宇(金石勋饰)，在金大宇没能力偿还高利贷后李基英就以此为借口威胁金大宇说要摘除他的脏器。特别是李基英在杀死自己的妻子后，当他被指定为嫌疑人接受调查时面不改色、处变不惊、泰然处之的演技表现，令人感到毛骨悚然。
